Driver Safety Program Course Options

Indiana Driver Safety Program (DSP)
Indiana law requires certain drivers to complete a Driver Safety Program (DSP) to maintain their driving privileges. This applies to individuals who:
- Are convicted of two or more traffic offenses within a 12-month period.
- Are under 18 years old and have two or more traffic offenses, two or more accidents, or a combination of both within a 12-month period.
Failure to complete a BMV-approved DSP course within 90 days of notification from the BMV will result in the suspension of driving privileges. Courts may also require DSP completion as an alternative to suspension.
